Yesterday, the KNCCI Taita Taveta Chapter, led by Chairperson Mr. Andrew Mwamburi, actively engaged in stakeholder discussions concerning the medium-term budget for the years 2024/25-2026/27 in Taita Taveta County. The issues presented during this session are set to be incorporated into the forthcoming budget, aligning with the principles of the Bottom-Up Economic Transformation Agenda.
The forum was honored by the presence of Dr. Idris Salim, PhD, the State Department for Cabinet Affairs PS. Attendees included Madam Josephine Onunga, the Taita Taveta County Commissioner, along with the County Security Team, Honorable Peter Shake, the MP for Mwatate Constituency, National Government Officers from various Ministries, Departments, and agencies, as well as citizens representing the four constituencies.
